First off, everything is moving forward beautifully. A
special thank you for everyone's work.
Updates:
Cameron Taylor has spoken with Maurice
Ansley. There is a possible fundraiser in the month of September at forest
park. Will be in contact again for further information.
Grants .gov is a site that if anyone has time to maybe check
it out. If anyone has any other places to find fundraising or grants, we would
love to know about it.
Agape Village Inc has a logo! The image will be located at
the end of the email. The logo has been created by our own Vicky Trembly.
Some assignments were issued:
Henry Mc Clure- Development/Lease
agreement for Gil Carter building.
Facebook setup for Agape Village.
Tyler Wible- has meetings with Washburn
Tech to set up possible student participation.
Business plan/ Budget.

Since we have acquired a building, all areas of Agape Village Inc. are
moving forward.
- Debra Main,
and John Hicks for fundraising and grants.

Questions were
raised about the accounting portion of the Service Agreement. Cameron Taylor
will be looking into it.
Cameron Taylor and
Cynthia Wages met with American Legion in Rossville, KS 4-6-21. We have full
support of the Legions board members. Cameron Taylor is moving forward with a
poker or Texas hold'em tournament.
A gentleman named
Steve Watkins was discussed as a possible connection for information, and
assistance.
Cameron Taylor and
Henry McClure adjourned the meeting heading to property of interest.
There is an open
invitation to attend Top City Comedy featuring our own Vicky Trembly on
Thursday 4-15-21.

Debra Main spoke to
several contacts. She has received grant information and possible fundraising.
She has two meetings set for Friday. One with Maurice Ansley, and one
with Erma Forbes.
Henry McClure and
Tyler Wible gave their review of the tour they had of the building. Spoke of
possible costs, and the needed work, and gave support to move forward in an
agreement with Gil Carter Initiative.
Possible
fundraising were discussed as cruise nights,texas hold'em tourneys, and food
trucks. Cynthia Wages and Cameron Taylor will be meeting with American Legion
in Rossville for possible fundraising. Cynthia Wages is in contact with a St.
Mary's store hosting a Mother's day fundraising.
Use of Washburn
tech as a source of room designing, and possible labor donations from students
was being discussed.
In-laws were
briefly discussed.
The end of the
meeting ended with a tour of the west building. Norma Forbes joined our tour,
and gave details of the building. Spoke of Parks and Rec agreeing to help with
placing a statue on property.
Erma had agreed by
the end of the tour and discussion to work with Agape Village Inc.
