Updates
Debra Main spoke to
several contacts. She has received grant information and possible fundraising.
She has two meetings set for Friday. One with Maurice Ansley, and one
with Erma Forbes.
Henry McClure and
Tyler Wible gave their review of the tour they had of the building. Spoke of
possible costs, and the needed work, and gave support to move forward in an
agreement with Gil Carter Initiative.
Possible
fundraising were discussed as cruise nights,texas hold'em tourneys, and food
trucks. Cynthia Wages and Cameron Taylor will be meeting with American Legion
in Rossville for possible fundraising. Cynthia Wages is in contact with a St.
Mary's store hosting a Mother's day fundraising.
Use of Washburn
tech as a source of room designing, and possible labor donations from students
was being discussed.
In-laws were
briefly discussed.
The end of the
meeting ended with a tour of the west building. Norma Forbes joined our tour,
and gave details of the building. Spoke of Parks and Rec agreeing to help with
placing a statue on property.
Erma had agreed by
the end of the tour and discussion to work with Agape Village Inc.
