AGAPE VILLAGE INC

 

Vision- Agape Village sets out to help all willing rehabilitated veterans find their forever home in a nurturing and prosperous environment.

 

Mission- Agape Village is a recovery based organization. Dedicated to working with all veterans to finance, construct, and personalize their own affordable housing. Cultivating hope and transforming veterans lives into being an integral part of their community.

Positions that will be possibly filled as opportunity presents itself:

Recovery program discussed:

  The 4 pillars-

             -Employment

             -Personal

             -Financial

             -Spiritual

Agreement that Agape Village will facilitate through currently established programs for Veterans and community.

 

Possible person's discussed to work with on the Board or as an advisory capacity:

     Bill Fiander- Sec. of planning

     Brent Trout- available properties

     Angie Felts-Gray

     Tammy Dishman-Capitol Federal

 

  Cameron Taylor along some others will be meeting with Brian Fiander on March 16, and will report back what was discussed.

 

Before Wednesdays meeting:

 

     Cameron Taylor will:

 

 1- Research statistics of homeless veterans

  2- Begin defining benchmarks for the 4 pillars and projected cost of the programs.

 

     Henry McClure, and Tyler Wible would:

 

  1- Go into the community and speak to possible monitary contributions.

  2- Make a list through their contacts of properties/projects to make possible for Agape Village Inc.
